We are now looking for nurses to Karlstad Municipality's internal staffing group, a role that combines the security of a permanent position with the excitement and variation of working in different workplaces.

What you will be working with:

As a nurse in the staffing group, you will be a valuable resource taking on both shorter and longer assignments in various units within the municipality. You will primarily work during the day, but some evening, weekend, and on-call shifts are included. The assignments provide you with the opportunity to develop and meet care recipients with different needs, a job that is both varied and meaningful.

In this role, you will be responsible for health and medical care interventions in ordinary housing, sheltered housing, and nursing homes. You will conduct home visits, provide advice, and perform interventions such as pain relief, medication management, and injections. During on-call hours, you will also work with telephone advice.

To ensure you feel secure in your new role, we offer an introductory program tailored to your needs in collaboration with the unit manager and our mentors.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse; experience in municipal health and medical care is an advantage. You need to have a B driver's license and be able to cycle to reach our clients. The work involves building good relationships with care recipients, relatives, and partners. We work person-centered with a professional approach, making it important that you are flexible, collaborative, and confident in working independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Our offer:
